PREVIEW: On the 5th and 6th of August in Mumbai, the Pro Kabaddi League season 9 auctions will take place, featuring more than 500 players. The basic prices for each of the four categories are as follows:
A minimum of 18 players and a maximum of 25 players are allowed on each PKL team. In total, 111 players from each of the three categories were kept. These comprise 19 from the category of Elite Retained Players (ERP), 13 from the category of Retained Young Players (RYP), and 38 from the category of New Young Players (NYP).
In addition, 24 players from the top two teams of the Bangaluru-based Khelo India University Games 2021 will compete in the current season.
Veteran sports presenter and pundit Charu Sharma will conduct the auction.
